ORDER

This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioner/A5 seeking to return his passport and other documents seized by the police in Cr.No.62 of 2013 of Tadepalligudem Police Station, West Godavari District.

2. The petitioner and others are involved in Cr.No.62 of 2013 of Tadepalligudem Police Station, West Godavari District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 406, 468, 471 IPC and u/s.4 r/w.14 of Foreigners Act and Sec.66(C & D) of IT Act, 2000 and u/s.12(1)(A)(B) of Passport Act. Petitioner states that at the time of his arrest, the police seized his passport and other crucial documents for the purpose of investigation. Hence, he seeks to return those documents.

3. At the time of hearing, it is informed by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has not moved any application before the trial Court for return of the said documents. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to move an application invoking the provisions either u/s.451 or 457 Cr.P.C., for return of the said documents before the trial Court, and on filing such an application, the trial Court is directed to dispose of the same in accordance with law, within a period of one month.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
