The petitioner is assailing the inaction on the part of the 2nd respondent in considering the application of the petitioner for grant of Pass Port to him made vide applications dated 1307-2017 and 14-07-2017 on the purported ground of his involvement in criminal cases and which are pending trial in Court of law as being illegal and arbitrary and for issuance of appropriate consequential directions.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned standing counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner is involved in criminal cases in Cr.No.267 of 2014, 339 of 2014, 340 of 2014 341 of 2014 and 342 of 2014 on the file of PS Lalapeta, Guntur, his application could be considered if he obtains necessary permission to travel abroad from the concerned Court/s, where the criminal cases are pending.

In view of the same, it is open for the petitioner to move the concerned Court/s by way of an application and seek permission of the Court/s to travel aboard, and in case permission is accorded to him, the 2nd respondent to consider

the application of the petitioner for grant of Pass Port and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. Miscellaneous petitions if any pending shall stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
