O R D E R
Alleging that the 3rd respondent - Assistant commissioner of Police, Peddapally Zone, Peddapally District, is calling the petitioner to the police station at the instance of unofficial respondent No.5 who is the wife of the petitioner, and interfering with matrimonial dispute and pressuring the petitioner to pay an amount of Rs.20,00,000/ - to the 5th respondent and to sign on blank stamp and white papers for withdrawal of C.C.No.215 of 2018 on the file of I Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Mancherial; the present writ petition is filed.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Peddapally, dated 17.09.2018, denying the allegations of the petitioner and stating that 5th respondent, who is the wife of the petitioner, lodged complaint on 16.07.2018 before the 3rd respondent alleging harassment at the hand of the petitioner and his relatives for demand of additional dowry and as the matter pertains to matrimonial dispute, petitioner was contacted over phone for calling him for counseling, but he did not co-operate and filed the present writ petition with false allegations. Recording the above statement made in the written instructions, writ petition is disposed of, directing the police not to interfere with the life and liberty of the petitioner except in accordance with law and not to pressurize him to pay any amount to 5th respondent or to sign on any papers as alleged.
Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
