The petitioner's services were terminated by respondents on 21-11-2008, which was also communicated to the petitioner by Registered Post with Acknowledgment Due on 17-01-2009. 2.
Petitioner filed an appeal in 2016, which was rejected as time barred. On 09-03-2016, he also filed a review petition before the 2nd respondent, which was rejected on 04-05-2016. 3.
Though learned counsel for petitioner challenged these orders, he submits that petitioner wishes to file a Mercy Petition before the Executive Director of the 1st respondent and seeks a direction for consideration of the same by the said official. 4.
Having regard to the said request, the petitioner is granted three (03) weeks time from today to make the Mercy Petition before the Executive Director of the 1st respondent and the said Executive Director of the 1st respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the same within six (06) weeks thereafter and communicate his decision to the petitioner.

The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
