HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S. RAMACHANDRA RAO W.P.No.13495 of 2016 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue, appearing for respondents.

Petitioner had filed application dt.24-12-2015 for mutation and issuance of Pattedar Passbook and Title Deeds to her in respect of the subject land and the same has been rejected on 24-12-2015 by 4th respondent without assigning any reason through a communication displayed on the mee seva website.

Since the said rejection is without assigning any reasons and since the said rejection has visited serious civil consequences on the petitioner and it was the duty of 4th respondent to assign reasons why he has rejected the petitioner's request for mutation and issuance of Pattedar Passbook and Title Deeds, the impugned rejection dt.24-12-2015 of 4th respondent is set aside. The 4th respondent is directed to reconsider the issue and give reasons why he is refusing to mutate the petitioner's name and to issue Pattedar Passbook and Title Deeds to the petitioner. This exercise shall be completed within eight

weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after issuing notice to the petitioner. The 4th respondent shall also pay costs of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) to the petitioner within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
