HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.14389 of 2010 ORDER:

This writ petition was filed for the following relief: "A Writ of Mandamus may be issued declaring the action of the respondents in not placing purchase orders on the 2nd petitioner- small scale industry even though he has quoted far less price than others, as arbitrary, illegal and violative of Article 14 and 19 (1) (G) of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to award the contract of supply of steel furniture to the 2nd petitioner, who has quoted very less price and became the lowest bidder in the tender notice dated 29.05.2010 with all consequential benefits." This Court by order dated 23.06.2010 granted interim stay with regard to the entrustment of the work to the successful bidder pursuant to the short tender notice dated 29.05.2010. Thereafter, the said interim stay was vacated on 26.06.2012. In view of the vacation of the interim order and also the nature of relief sought for in the writ petition, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
