C.Ramanujulamma v. P.Maheshwar Reddy,
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.V.NAGARJUNA REDDY CONTEMPT CASE No.261 of 2015 Date:20.02.2015 Between:
C.Ramanujulamma, W/o Malla Reddy ..... Petitioner And:
P.Maheshwar Reddy, Tahsildar, Yerraguntal Mandal, YSR Kadapa District.
...Respondent
Counsel for the Petitioner: Smt P.Rajeshwari Counsel for the Respondent: GP for Civil Supplies (AP) The Court made the following:
ORDER:
This Contempt Case is filed alleging willful disobedience of order, dated 08.12.2014, in Writ Petition No.37016 of 2014, whereby this Court has disposed of the said Writ Petition on the assurance given by the respondent herein that he will continue to allot the stock to the petitioner so long as her authorization continues to subsist.
The grievance of the petitioner in this Contempt Case is that despite the said assurance, the respondent has reduced the allotment from 110.48 quintals of PDS rice to 59.56 quintals.
In my opinion, this alleged action of the
respondent will not constitute contempt of the abovementioned order of this Court as, no direction with respect to specific quantity was contained in the said order.
If the petitioner feels aggrieved by the allotment of reduced quantity of rice, she shall be free to avail a fresh appropriate remedy.
Subject to the liberty given to the petitioner as above, the Contempt Case is dismissed.
