Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Prohibition and Excise (A.P.) appearing for the respondents.

When the matter is taken up, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the Deputy Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise, Nellore, S.P.S.R. Nellore District, respondent No.3 herein, on the basis of representation submitted by the petitioner herein, addressed a letter bearing Rc.No.131/2017/A4, dated 30.08.2017, to the Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise, Prasadampadu, Andhra Pradesh, respondent No.2 herein, for taking necessary action.

The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is the alleged inaction on the part of respondent No.2 in taking further action on the said letter, dated 30.08.2017. 4.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the present writ petition, with a direction to respondent No.2 - The Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise, Prasadampadu, Andhra Pradesh to take appropriate action and to pass orders strictly in accordance with law pursuant to the letter bearing Rc.No.131/2017/A4, dated 30.08.2017, addressed by respondent No.3 within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending consideration, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
