ORAL ORDER:

Petitioner was placed under suspension by proceedings dated 22.10.2016 and also issued show cause notice. Alleging inordinate delay in completing the enquiry and not reinstating the petitioner to service, this writ petition is filed. When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for petitioner as well as learned standing counsel submitted that enquiry is over and Enquiry Officer has submitted his report and petitioner was called to appear for personal hearing on 17.4.2017 but it could not be held on that day, though petitioner attended the office.

Since it is only at the stage of personal hearing and passing orders, having regard to these facts, writ petition is disposed of directing the Project Director-third respondent to complete the disciplinary proceedings and pass final orders as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If for any reason, no final orders are passed, not attributable to the petitioner within the time stipulated above, suspension shall be revoked and petitioner shall be put back to duties. Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Having regard to the same, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed. ______________ P NAVEEN RAO,J DATE:24.4.
