The grievance in the writ petition is that petitioner passed diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (India), Mumbai and the same is not entered in his service records, as such, he submitted representations dated 27.08.2015, 26.10.2016, Nil.02.2017 and 15.05.2017 to the respondents. As the same is not being disposed of, present writ petition is filed.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Smt.A.Deepthi, learned Standing Counsel for respondents.
In view of the facts and circumstances and since the grievance of the petitioner by way of representation is pending before the respondents, without expressing any opinion on merits, the respondents are directed to dispose of the representations of the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
