HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 33247 of 2018 ORDER:

1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Government Pleader for Revenue. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondent No.3 in not disposing the appeal pending vide Rc.E.727/2015, as illegal and arbitrary. 3) Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondent - authorities concerned to dispose of the appeal, at the earliest. Learned Government Pleader for Revenue does not oppose the same. 4) Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent - authorities to dispose of the appeal vide Rc.E.727/2015, dated 19.05.2015, in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
