Heard. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, this Writ Petition is being disposed of at the stage of admission. 2.

The petitioner is aggrieved by inordinate delay in disposing of the appeal filed by him.

According to learned counsel for the petitioner, against the order of removal from service, dated 07.08.2015, as Field Assistant, the petitioner preferred appeal on 01.09.2015, which was received by the respondents on 02.09.2015, and so far the same is not disposed of causing undue hardship and sufferance to the petitioner.

Having regard to the fact that the appeal is pending consideration before the 3rd respondent, the appellate authority, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
