ORDER:

This writ petition is instituted alleging that the disciplinary proceedings initiated in the year 2008 are yet to be concluded and the disciplinary action is hanging on the head of the petitioner for more than seven years, whereas when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Standing Counsel produced proceedings of the Managing Director, A.P. Housing Corporation Limited, Hyderabad (1st respondent),

dated 03.01.2016, wherein as a consequence to the initiation of the disciplinary proceedings in the year 2008, final orders are passed imposing punishment of stoppage of one annual Grade increment without cumulative effect. Since disciplinary proceedings are already concluded, no relief, as sought for, can be granted and the writ petition do not survive for consideration.

2. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to avail all the remedies as available in law against the order of imposing punishment. All the contentions urged in the writ petition with reference to the disciplinary action are preserved. There shall be no order as to costs.
