The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondent Nos.1 and 2 in not arresting the accused in Crime No.92 of 2016 of Shahinayathgunj Police Station, Hyderabad, dated 11.03.2016, registered for the offences punishable under Section 420 of IPC and Section 3(1)(x) of SC/ST POA Act, and not laying charge sheet, though the said crime was registered on 11.03.2016, as illegal and arbitrary. 3.

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondents-police to complete the investigation, at the earliest, and file a final report. 4.

Having regard to the submission made across the Bar, if investigation is not completed and no final report is filed, respondents-police shall complete the investigation in Crime No.332 of 2010 92 of 2016 of Shahinayathgunj Police Station, Hyderabad, dated 11.03.2016, and file a final report, in terms of Section 173 of Cr.P.C., in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of four to six months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. 5.
