THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY CRIMINAL PETITION No.4640 OF 2017 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C to quash the proceedings against the petitioner/accused No.1 in S.C.No.199 of 2014 on the file of the Judge, Family Court-cum-VIII Additional District & Sessions Judge, Ongole, Prakasam District. At the time of arguments, the only relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioners is to direct the trial Court to dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this court is not inclined to go into the merits of the main case.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Judge, Family Court-cum-VIII Additional District & Sessions Judge, Ongole, Prakasam District is hereby directed to dispose of S.C.No.199 of 2014 as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Criminal Petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, pending if any in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
