HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.9671 of 2014 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioner/accused seeks to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.553 of 2008 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Jadcherla, Mahabubnagar District which was registered against him for the offences under Sections 420, 406, 423, 506, 504 IPC and Section 7(1) of Criminal Law (Amendment) Act, 1932. 2) When the matter came up for hearing today, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 09.02.2018 of Inspector of Police, Jadcherla P.S, Mahabubnagar District and submitted that this case has been compromised before the Lok Adalat on 31.07.2015 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.553 of 2008 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

3) There is no representation for petitioner.

4) In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
