This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.') by the petitionerAccused to quash the proceedings against him in FIR No.220 of 2022 pending on the file of Station House Officer, Narsapur Police Station, Medak District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 415, 420, 465, 471, 499 and 506 of Indian Penal Code (for short "IPC") and 200 read with 156(3) of Cr.P.C. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner - Accused and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent - State. Perused the material on record.

The case against the petitioner is that he has fabricated a receipt dated 20.11.2018 for an amount of Rs.5,00,000/- allegedly towards part sale consideration of agricultural land at Narsapur. 4.

As seen from the plaint filed in O.S.No.241 of 2021, the petitioner has filed a suit for specific performance on the very same

receipt dated 20.11.2018 for an amount of Rs.5,00,000/-. The said civil suit i.e., O.S.No.241 of 2021 is pending adjudication and the correctness or otherwise of the alleged said fabricated receipt shall be adjudicated by the civil court.

In the said circumstances, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the Investigating Officer in respect of FIR No.220 of 2022 pending on the file of Station House Officer, Narsapur Police Station, Medak District, to conclude the investigation without taking any coercive steps against the petitioner - Accused. Further, the petitioner - Accused shall co-operate with the Investigating Officer as and when required for the purpose of investigation. 6.
