ORDER:

The petitioner, who claims to be a former Corporator, filed this Writ Petition for a Mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in showing the voters residing within the geographical boundaries of Azampura Division as voters of Chawni division and the voters of Akbar Bagh and Kurmaguda, Rein Bazar

divisions as voters of Azampura and Chawni divisions, respectively, as illegal and arbitrary.

I have heard Mr. K.S.Murthy, learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Advocate General for the State o f Telangana and Mr. G.Vidyasagar, learned senior counsel appearing for respondent No.3.

Mr. K.S.Murthy, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that in the course of division and preparation of the electoral rolls by the Election Commission of India, ward-wise, for the purpose of being used for holding elections to respondent No.2-Corporation, the voters of one division falling within the specific geographical boundaries are shown as the voters of another division and that on noticing the same, the petitioner has given a detailed representation to respondent No.3. He has further submitted that after the said representation is given, his client has collected further data and that he may be permitted to furnish the same to respondent No.3 for taking a decision on the former's representation. Mr. G.Vidysagar, learned senior counsel appearing for respondent No.3, submitted that if any additional data is furnished by the petitioner, the same will be considered by respondent No.3 along with his representation, dated 14.12.2015, and a decision will be taken.

In the light of the above submissions, the petitioner is permitted to furnish additional data, if any, to respondent No.3 on or before 21.12.2015. Within three days of receipt of such data, respondent No.3 shall take a decision and communicate the same to the petitioner. Subject to the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.

As a sequel to disposal of the Writ Petition, W.P.M.P.No.53067 of 2015 filed by the petitioner for interim relief is disposed of as infructuous.
