This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner/accused under Section 438 of the Criminal Procedure Code seeking pre-arrest bail in Crime No.9643 of 2022 for the offence punishable under Section 135 (1) (a) of the Electricity Act. 02.

Learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State / Respondent are present.

When the matter has been taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this matter has become infructuous.

In view of the above submission, this Criminal Petition is liable to be dismissed as infructuous. 05.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There is no order as to costs.

As a sequel, pending Miscellaneous Applications, if any, shall stand closed.
