Heard. With the consent of both the counsel, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. 2.

According to petitioner in the list of qualified conductors for promotion to Junior Assistant.(P)/Junior Asst.(F), his name was shown against Sl.No.99 under Scheduled caste category. The respondent-Corporation is observing the rule of reservation in favour of scheduled caste category candidates. Two persons above the petitioner belonging to scheduled caste category were considered for promotion and orders were passed on 03.06.2016 and 08.06.2016 by separate proceedings. In the first order one P.Raja Reddy name was shown at Sl.No.10 but he expressed his unwillingness. In the second order Sri A.R.Murthy at Sl.No.15 also expressed his unwillingness to take promotion. Petitioner therefore contends that he being the next scheduled caste category candidate he should have been promoted and not granting promotion amounts to arbitrary exercise of power. 3.

Ventilating his grievance petitioner submitted his representation on 16.06.2016 and reminder on 31.01.2017. 4.

Since the representations submitted by the petitioner are stated to be pending, both the counsel agree for disposal of the writ petition with a direction to the competent authority to pass orders on the representations submitted by the petitioner.

Having regard to the said submissions without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Executive Director, Kadapa Zone, APSRTC, Kadapa (2nd respondent) to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders as warranted by law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed.
