This writ petition is filed for a writ of mandamus declaring the proceedings No.2704/SEC-F2/2006-2(70), dated 19.11.2010 issued by the 2nd respondent disqualifying the petitioner from contesting any election for a period of 3 years from the date of passing of the said order, as illegal and arbitrary. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing counsel Sri Nimmagadda Venkateshwarlu for R4. By virtue of interim order granted by this Court on 18.07.2011, suspending the impugned proceedings, the period of 3 years disqualifying the petitioner from contesting the election has expired. As such the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
