HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO Contempt Case No. 354 of 2016 Order:

This Contempt Case is filed alleging non-implementation of the order of this Court passed in WP No. 30182 of 2015, dated 16.09.2015, wherein this Court directed the respondents to fix the pay of the petitioner in the pay scale of the driver and pay him the salaries for the interregnum period from 01.08.2012 to 14.10.2014 within a period of eight weeks.

2. Though the order was not complied with within the said period, when the matter is taken up for admission, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents produced before this Court a copy of the order dated 20.07.2016 ordering extension of benefit of pay scale in the post of driver to the post of Record Tracer for the interregnum period from 01.08.2012 to 14.10.2014 in respect of the petitioner. In view of the same, no further action is needed in the present Contempt Case.

3. The Contempt Case is, accordingly, closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

4. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this Contempt Case shall stand closed. ________________________ A.
