HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.39638 OF 2016 ORDER:
This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner seeking to declare the inaction of the 4th respondent in considering the representation of the petitioner made on 28.06.2016 for mutating his name in online Mee-Bhoomi web land revenue records, as illegal and arbitrary. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents. With their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.
Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, the learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the 4th respondent to consider the application of the petitioner made on 28.06.2016, seeking mutation of his name in web-land.
The learned AGP would submit that the 4th respondent may be directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, if it is still pending consideration, in accordance with law. Having considered the rival submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent-Tahasildar to consider the representation dated 28.06.2016 made by the petitioner seeking to mutate his name in online Mee-Bhoomi web land revenue records in respect of land admeasuring
Acs.4.50 cents in survey Nos.693/2, 693/3 and 693/4 situated at H/o.Chitticherla Village, Devarakonda Revenue Village, Chinnagottigallu Mandal, Chittoor District, in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner and other aggrieved persons, if any, at the earliest, preferably within a period of 4-6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Miscellaneous petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
