Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development and Sri G.Vidyasagar, learned Senior Counsel, appearing for the second respondent.

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned Senior Counsel that, in accordance with the procedure, contemplated under Rule 8 of the A.P.Municipalities (Conduct of Election of Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson) Rules, 2005, action will be taken for filling up the vacancy of the Vice-Chairperson. The said statement is placed on record.

In view of the above, Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
