This Criminal Petition is filed seeking quashment of proceedings in Crime No.473 of 2017 of Station House Officer, Pet Basheerabad Police Station, registered for the offences under Sections 498-A, 354 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, against the petitioners/accused No.2 to 5.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 03.

Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor has submitted a copy of Letter dated 04.01.2023 addressed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Petbasheerabad Police Station, stating that the same has been numbered as C.C.No.1097 of 2021 and compromised before Lokadalath on 07.12.2021.

The same is recorded.

In view of the above submission, since the very purpose of filing this Criminal Petition is already been defeated, no purpose would survive to proceed with this Criminal Petition and the same has become infructuous.

In view of the above, this Criminal Petition is liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There is no order as to costs.

As a sequel, pending Miscellaneous Applications in this matter, if any, shall stand closed.
