ORAL ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned standing counsel for TSRTC and with their consent the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission.

This writ petition is filed challenging the order of suspension from service. Prima facie reading of the order would show that it was passed by competent authority and based on material placed before him. The substance of the allegation is collecting money from the passenger but not issuing the tickets, therefore, it cannot be said that there is no application of mind before placing the petitioner under suspension. 3.

At this stage, learned counsel for petitioner submits that on the same day charge sheet was issued, petitioner has submitted his explanation on 24.8.2018 and request for direction for early conclusion of the disciplinary proceedings.

That being so, writ petition is disposed of directing the disciplinary authority to conclude the disciplinary proceedings as expeditiously as possible preferably within two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Petitioner shall also cooperate for early conclusion of disciplinary proceedings. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
