According to the petitioner, his father one Venkata Kotaiah while working as fair price shop dealer, passed away on 20.8.2013 and the petitioner submitted a representation on 5.11.2014 to the 2nd respondentRevenue Divisional Officer for appointment on compassionate grounds in the place of his father. It is further stated that no action has been taken on the said representation. A request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent to take appropriate action on the said representation dated 5.11.2014 submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with law and on the other hand, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader appearing for Respondents that the said representation will be considered in accordance with law.
In view of the above, writ petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on the merits and demerits of the matter, directing the 2nd respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 5.11.2014 said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein, in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
