Kota Rajaratnam , Bathula Rajaratnam, v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR W.P.No.33398 of 2015 ORDER:
The petitioner complains of long pendency of his appeal before the 3rd respondent since 2009. The petitioner states that he filed an appeal ROR No.1360/2009/A as early as on 12-01-2009 and the said appeal is stated to be still pending and not yet taken up for hearing and no date of hearing is fixed by the 3rd respondent.
Heard the learned Government Pleader for Revenue. He states that the appeal, if any pending, would be disposed of by the 3rd respondent expeditiously. In the circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to fix an early date of hearing of the said appeal, if it is already not disposed of, and then hear and decide the appeal expeditiously, preferably by the end of November, 2015. No order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed. _______________________ VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR, J Date: 09-10-2015 Prv
