HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT Writ Petition No.30019 of 2016 ORDER:

Vide present writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction, thereby directing the respondents 2 and 3 to pay the enhanced compensation under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, as per the decree and judgment in LAAS No.82 of 2013 dated 08.02.2013 in favour of the petitioner.

2. Notice issued to the respondents and the learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition (AP), accepted the notice on behalf of the respondents and has assured this court that the enhanced compensation shall be paid within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Similar issue came before this court in WP No.2100 of 2009, whereby, vide order dated 24.11.2014, directed the respondents to pay the enhanced compensation within three months.

3. Keeping in view of the averments made in the writ petition and the statement made by the learned Government Pleader for the aforesaid respondents, I hereby direct the respondents to pay the enhanced compensation to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. In view of the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this petition, shall stand closed.
