Learned standing counsel, on instructions, makes statement that the market committee is under legal obligation to conduct auction for running a canteen in the market yard and such auction will be conducted within four (4) weeks from today. In other words, it is submitted that the canteen presently run by petitioner will not be handed over through private negotiations or otherwise to persons of the choice of respondents 2 and 3.
The statement is placed on record. The writ petitions are disposed of accordingly. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ____________ S. V. BHATT, J December 9, 2016 DSK
