Heard learned Standing counsel for the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation for respondents. No representation on behalf of the petitioners.

This writ petition is filed alleging that petitioners are owners of properties bearing H.Nos.5-6-75, 5-6-74, 5-6-73, 5-6092 and 6-5-30 respectively situated in Lashkar Bazar, Hanamkonda. For the purpose of construction of storm water drainage and duct, the Municipal Corporation, is trying to dispossess the petitioners without following the due process of law and without payment of compensation.

When the matter is taken up, learned Standing counsel, on instructions, fairly submits that if the property of the petitioners is required for the purpose of construction of storm water drainage they will follow due process, as required by the Land Acquisition Act, subject to verification of title deeds of the properties claimed by the petitioners.

In view of the fair submission of learned Standing counsel, the Writ Petition is disposed of granting liberty to the Municipal Corporation, to acquire the properties of the petitioners for public purpose by following due procedure as required by the Land Acquisition Act, subject to verification of title deeds of the properties claimed by the petitioners as owned by them.
