CVNR,J & GSP,J W.P.No.23336 of 2017 ORDER: (Per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to declare the inaction of the respondents in implementing order, date 02.09.2016, in O.A.No.3429 of 2015 on the file of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad (for short 'the Tribunal') as illegal. The petitioner has sought for a consequential direction to the respondents to pay penal interest at the rate of 24% per annum on the retirement benefits. 2.

At the hearing, the learned Government Pleader for Services (TS) appearing for the respondents has placed before us proceedings No.A1/214/2013, dated 29.08.2017, of respondent No.2, wherein he has accorded sanction for release of the pension and retirement benefits to the petitioner, with the direction to the District Scheduled Caste Development Officer, Sanga Reddy, to take necessary action in the matter. The learned Government Pleader has submitted that in pursuance of the aforementioned proceedings, the District Scheduled Caste Development Officer, Sanga Reddy, will pursue the matter and assured that the pension will be released as early as possible. 3.

In the light of the above subsequent events as referred to above and the submissions of the learned Government Pleader, which are placed on record, the Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous. 4.

As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.28815 of 2017 filed by the petitioner for interim relief shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
