The present writ petition came to be filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents, in not issuing the new passbook under new rythu bandhu scheme in respect of lands situated in Sy.No.574/A extent of Ac.2.54 cents (Wet), Sy.No.603/A extent of Ac.0.50 cents (Wet), Sy.No.618/B, extent of Ac.1.20 cents (Wet) and Sy.No.256/A extent of Ac.1.99 cents (Dry), Sy.No.347/A extent of Ac.1.29 cents (Wet), Sy.No.415/A, extent of Ac.0.45 cents (Wet) Sy.No.892/A extent of Ac.3.44 cents (Dry) and Sy.No.1103/A extent of Ac.10.90 cents (Dry) of Kodangal Mandal, as illegal and arbitrary.

The grievance of the petitioner appears to be that even though the petitioner submitted his representation on 24.5.2018, the 4th respondent did not take any action so far.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue, would submit that the authority may be directed to consider the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent-Tahsildar, to deal with the representation dated 24.05.2018, submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and all concerned, as early as possible preferably, within a period of two to three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, WP.M.Ps if any pending shall stand closed.
