When the writ petition is taken up hearing on a request made, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in view of the interim order, dated 18.09.2017, and the subsequent events the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication and sought permission to withdraw the writ petition.

Permission as sought for is accorded.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
