HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 33513 of 2018 ORDER:

1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Government Pleader for Revenue. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is heard at the admission stage itself. 2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus, declaring the inaction of the respondents 3 to 5 in issuing pattadar pass books and title deeds in respect of the land in dispute, as illegal, arbitrary and improper. 3) The averments in the affidavit filed in support of the petition would show that the petitioners are in possession of the subject land and are raising crops on the said land. The grievance of the petitioners is that though they have made an application on 13.06.2018 for issuance of pattadar pass books, till date, no orders came to be passed on the said application. 4) The Government Pleader for Revenue submits that if reasonable time is granted, the application of the petitioners would be disposed of.

5) Having regard to the above, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the Tahsildar, Penumur Mandal, Chittoor district to deal with the application made by the petitioners on 13.06.2018 and pass orders, in accordance with law, after hearing all concerned, if no orders are passed thereon till date, as early as possible,

preferably, within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. No order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
