In response to the notification issued by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the petitioners submitted their application seeking permission to start a D.EI.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) Course in favour of second petitioner institution. To process such application, it is necessary for the SCERT to issue 'no objection certificate'. Petitioners applied to TSSCERT on 22.5.2015 for grant of 'no objection certificate'. Alleging that so far 'no objection certificate' application is not processed and on that ground his application for grant of affiliation is not disposed of, the present Writ Petition is filed. 2.

Learned counsel for petitioners contended that such applications were processed and 'no objection certificate' was also granted to several other institutions but the application submitted by the petitioner Society is still pending consideration. 3.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for petitioners as well as learned Standing Counsel fairly submitted that the Writ Petition can be disposed of with a direction to process the application of the petitioners pending before SCERT, Telangana, Hyderabad, within the time frame.

Having regard to the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the third respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner Society on 22.5.2015 with reference to grant of 'no objection certificate' to establish an

PNR,J institution to impart diploma in elementary education, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
