There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 2.

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under:- "...to issue a Writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring that the case of the convict Sri Kadivendi Lakshmi Narasaiah Chari S/o.Sankaraiah, Convict No 282, serving out his sentence in the 2nd respondent Jail, Warangal is not hit by Para 4 Clause iv or any other clause of the GO Ms.No.220 Home (Parole) Department dated 28.09.2013 passed by the respondent No.1 and it is further consequentially prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to direct the respondent No.1 to forth release the said convict herein from the 2nd respondent Prison, Warangal and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents placed on record the written instructions, dated 19.12.2019, issued by the Superintendent, Central Prison, Warangal. 4.

From a perusal of the said written instructions, it is revealed that the Prisoner No.282 (Kadavendi Lakshmi Narasaiah Chari) was released on grant of special remission on 29.03.2016, vide G.O.Ms.No.38 Home (Legal) Department, dated 28.03.2016, after fulfilling the conditions laid down in G.O.Ms.No.16 Home (Legal) Department, dated 17.02.2016. It is also further stated in the written instructions that there is no delay or negligence on the part of the jail authorities in releasing the convict by granting special remission as per G.O.Ms.No.220 Home (Parole) Department, dated 28.09.2013.

In that view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition, since the maternal uncle of the petitioner viz., Kadivendi Lakshmi Narasaiah Chari, was already released on 29.03.2016 itself.
