This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings against the petitioner/A.3 in Crime No.71 of 2013 of Central Crime Station, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A IPC and Sections 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. 2.
Heard learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent. None appears for the petitioner.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced a Memo, dated 28.08.2018, wherein it is stated that the police after completion of investigation filed charge sheet in the aforesaid crime, which came to be numbered as C.C.No.164 of 2014 pending on the file of XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally.

Hence, the cause in this Criminal Petition does not survive for further adjudication and that the petition has become infructuous and is consequently dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
