Both the appellant and respondent No.2 are present and they are identified with the help of Aadhar card and through their respective Counsel.
2. Both the parties entered into compromise and Compromise Memo is also filed to this effect. As per the terms of compromise, the respondent No.2 is permitted to withdraw the amount of Rs.2,20,000/ - which was deposited in the Court pursuant to the directions of the Court at the time of admission of the appeal with interest for which the appellant has no objection.
3. In view of the fact that both the parties entered into compromise and settled the matter, with a view that they shall maintain cordial relationship and lead a peaceful life, hence, recording the said compromise and in view of the fact that both the parties have entered into compromise and settled the matter, this Appeal is allowed and the sentence imposed against the accused by the lower appellate Court in Criminal Appeal No.178/ 2014, dated: 28.3.2017 is set aside.
