The present writ petition came to be filed seeking a direction to the authorities to consider the application filed by the petitioners, in terms of the orders passed in G.O.Ms.No. 58, Revenue (Assignment-I) Department, dated 30.12.2014. 2.

The case of the petitioners is that they are in possession of the subject property even as on today, and as such, seek a direction to the Mandal Revenue Officer to consider their cases for grant of pattas, in terms of G.O.Ms.No. 58, dated 30.12.2014. The same is not seriously disputed by the learned Government Pleader, who submits that G.O.Ms.No. 58, dated 30.12.2014 is still in force.

Having regard to the above, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage, directing the Mandal Revenue Officer, Gachibowli village, Serlingampally, Ranga Reddy district to deal with the application, if any, made by the petitioners individually, in terms of G.O.Ms.No. 58, Revenue (Assignment-I) Department, dated 30.12.2014, and pass orders thereon, at the earliest.
