THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:

ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "...to issue a writ, order or orders more particularly in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent in deducting the crop insurance premium from the crop loans of the petitioners/members released and to be released to the members of the petitioners at the rate of 1% to 12.5% towards crop Insurance Premium in the Khariff and Rabby seasons 2012 to 2013 as illegal, arbitrary, violative of provisions of Constitution of India, Contract Act and declare the same as optional." At the hearing, Mr. K. Nelakanteeswara Rao, learned counsel for the petitioners, submitted that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

In view of the above submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.

As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, interim order dt.24.4.2012 shall stand vacated and W.P.M.P. No.14970 of 2012 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
