THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.19523 of 2014 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents 1 to 3.

2.

The prayer sought for in the Writ Petition is as under: "to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, to declare the inaction of the 3rd respondent in proceeding with the investigation into Cr.No.583 of 2014 though the said crime is registered on 20-5-2014, as being illegal, arbitrary and unjust, and consequently direct the 2nd respondent herein to take action against the 3rd respondent for dereliction of his duties." 3.

During the course of hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home brought to the notice of this Court that pursuant to registration of Crime No.583 of 2014, investigation was completed and final report was filed vide Registration No.16 of 2014. 4.

During pendency of the crime, the parties have settled their disputes before Lok Adalat on 08.04.2017. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner did not dispute the said contention. 5.

In that view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition. 6.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ____________________________ JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO 1st October, 2019 YVL
