THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.2064 of 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C. No.304 of 2014 (crime No.666 of 2012) on the file of the VI Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad, Medchal, for the offence under Section 498-A I.P.C. and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Public Prosecutor and perused the material available on record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the Criminal Petition is disposed of with the following directions : The presence of petitioners herein is dispensed with before the trial Court and the trial Court is directed to proceed with the trial in the C.C.No.304 of 2014 and to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible. The petitioners shall be properly represented through their counsel before the trial Court.
