This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. questioning the order dated 04.09.2018 passed in C.C.No.230 of 2014 by the XV Metropolitan Magistrate, Medchal for framing of charges against the petitioner for various offences.

When the Apex Court in Asian Resurfacing of Road Agency Pvt. Ltd. v Central Bureau of Investigation1 concluded that the revision is maintainable against framing of charges under Section 239 Cr.P.C., this Court cannot invoke jurisdiction under Section 482 Cr.P.C. Therefore, the petitioner is permitted to file appropriate application before the competent revisional Court under Section 397(1) Cr.P.C.. With the above observation, the criminal petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions in the petition, if any, shall stand closed.
