Smt. Chennarapu Rekha Devi, v. Government Of Andhra Pradesh, Rep. By Principal Secretary,
HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 10935 OF 2014 ORDER:
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Pleader for Home, appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.
2.
The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under: " For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Court may be pleased to issue a Writ, Order or direction especially in the nature of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to complete the investigation pursuant to FIR No. 462 of 2013 on the file of 3rd respondent immediately and take appropriate action to apprehend the accused and remand them in accordance with law and pass such other order as this Honourable Court may deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."
3.
During the course of hearing, learned Government Pleader brought to the notice of this Court that pursuant to the registration of Crime No.462 of 2013 on the file of the 3rd respondent Police Station, investigation was completed and charge sheet was filed before the concerned Court. After taking cognizance of the offences, the case was taken on file as C.C.No.366 of 2014. Learned Government Pleader also submitted that the said calendar case is pending trial.
4.
Since the main grievance of the petitioner is to complete the investigation pursuant to the Crime No.462 of 2013, and now that the charge sheet is already filed, no further cause would survive in the writ petition.
5.
Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. __________________ P. KESHAVA RAO, J Date:14.11.2019.
