HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT WRIT PETITION No.27069 OF 2014 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner is one of inaction in disposing of the representation dated 01.08.2014. The petitioner asserts that the land in Survey No.399 of Ellur Village, Revenue Shivaru, Kollapur Mandal, Mahabubnagar District is revenue land and in an extent of Ac.10-00 they were cultivating and they are entitled for cultivation of their land.

The Government Pleader for Forest submits that the subject matter of writ petition is forest land.

Prima facie, I am of the view that having regard to the stand taken by the Forest Department, no direction to Revenue Department for consideration and disposal of representation on forest land can be considered and granted.

Accordingly, the prayer is rejected and writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in the writ petition shall stand closed.
