This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash proceedings initiated against the petitioner/ accused in C.C.No.802 of 2009 on the file of I Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Visakhapatnam, arising out of a private complaint filed by the first respondent herein for the offence punishable under Section 138 read with Section 142 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

At the time of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner has sought permission of the Court to permit the petitioner to withdraw the criminal petition.

Permission is granted.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
