The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, to declare the action of the 2nd respondent in not suspending the orders of the 3rd respondent dated 05.01.2018, on the ground that the 3rd respondent has no jurisdiction to cancel the pattadar pass books and title deeds issued to the petitioner.

It is to be noted here that against the order passed by the 3rd respondent-the Revenue Divisional Officer, the petitioner filed a revision before the Joint Collector, Anantapur, vide Rc.No. 8965/ 2018/ D4, and the same is pending consideration. That being the position, entertaining a writ petition on the ground that the Revenue Divisional Officer has no jurisdiction, is not proper. 3.

At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner also filed a stay petition along with the revision, and the same is also pending, and no orders are passed thereon till date.

Having regard to the above, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage, directing the Joint Collector, Anantapur, before whom the revision/ stay petition is pending consideration, to dispose of the revision as early as possible, preferably, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the Deputy Collector is not in a position to dispose of the

revision within the time fixed, he shall pass appropriate orders on the stay petition, if any, filed along with the revision, in accordance with law, within a period of two to four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. _________________________ JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR 18.09.2018 DMG
