THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.4537 OF 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.) to quash the proceedings in crime No.40 of 2016 on the file of the Narayanavanam Police Station, Chittoor District, arising out of offences under Sections 370, 374 IPC read with Section 34 IPC and Sections 9, 16, 17, 18 of Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act and Section 3(1)(iv) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Heard and perused the material available on record. This Court is of the view that truth or otherwise of the allegations made against the petitioners can be decided only after due trial. Hence, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the proceedings against the petitioners. However, the petitioners are given liberty to file appropriate petition seeking anticipatory bail.
