Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleaders for the respondents.

The grievance of the petitioner is against the alleged inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in taking action on the quarry lease application submitted by him to an extent of 6.400 hectares in Sy.Nos.224 and 214/B of Thallapalli Village, Vempalli Mandal, YSR District.

When the matter is taken up, the instructions furnished by the Assistant Director of Mines and Geology, Yerraguntla, YSR District, are placed on record by the learned Government Pleader. In the said instructions, it is stated that the application of the petitioner has been recommended for rejection. On hearing the same, learned counsel for the petitioner requested this Court to direct the respondents to pass appropriate orders as per law so that the petitioner can avail the remedies open to him.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the application already submitted by the petitioner, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
